Google has rolled out the Android developer for Android P in the March this year. The company then released the first beta last month at the company’s annual developer conference Google I/O 2018. Now, the company has rolled out Beta 2 for all the Pixel smartphones.

The Android P Beta 2 consists of final APIs and the official SDK which enables the developers to start building with Android P features and APIs. Android P incorporates Adaptive Battery which uses machine learning in order to prioritize system resources for apps. It also has App Actions which enables you to increase the visibility of your app and help derive engagement with the help of machine learning. There is also a feature called Slices which is a new way to surface rich, templated content in places like Google Search and Assistant.

Along with this, the Android P beta 2 also brings 157 new emojis which were introduced in February as part of Unicode 11.0. The new emojis include hot face, curly hair, cold face, mango, redheads, super heroes, infinity, softball, kangaroo and others.

In case you have already enrolled for the beta program, then you will automatically get the Android P beta 2 via OTA update. However, if you have not enrolled then you can download factory and OTA images and flash it manually.

The company has also said that the Beta 3 will is in testing phase and may be released by the end of this month while the final Beta 4 will be available for testing in Q3 2018 before final release.
